THE National Trust has announced details of Christmas events.
Hardwick Hall, near Chesterfield, will be celebrating with a 1930s house party, illuminated gardens and stableyard on Saturdays and Sundays between December 1 and 16.
Each festive weekend at Hardwick Hall, there will also be music to set the tone, from brass bands to carolling choirs.
On the Longshaw estate, on the edge of Sheffield, the trust’s Moorland Discovery Centre offers Christmas shopping, music and meals in the tea-room on Saturdays and Sundays December 8, 9, 15 and 16. Christmas trees will be on sale at Hardwick, from December 1 to 16, Castleton on December 8 and 9, Longshaw, from November 24 to December 21.
