Rare motorbikes will roar into Eckington this weekend for a special event.
The event has been inspired by two motorcycle racers from the town, Charlie Freeman and Billie Nelson, who were both successful at national and international level in the 1950s and 1960s.
There will be an exhibition of racing photographs, motorcycles and memorabilia on display in the town’s heritage centre between 10am to 4pm, and shops will also display bikes.
Event organiser Keith Riley, who runs Aquiline tattoo shop, said: “The idea is to turn the town centre into one big motorcycle display for the day with bikes parked on the precinct, in the shops and heritage centre. We want people to come along on the day to share their memories of the pair and enjoy the exhibition.”
