THE landlord of a Sheffield pub is hoping to pull in big crowds when he holds a military-themed fundraising event.
The Chantry, on Chesterfield Road, is being covered with camouflage for the occasion on Saturday evening.
Landlord Danny Grayson hopes to raise hundreds of pounds for wounded troops’ charity, Help for Heroes, with the bash starting from 8pm.
He said: “There will be male body waxing and a fantastic raffle.
“I’ve contributed, buying a 32-inch LCD television set which will be one of the top prizes.”
Mr Grayson added: “We’re going all-out to create a military theme for the event and hope we can raise a good few hundred pounds for what is a very worthy cause.
“The pub will be covered in netting and camouflage outside the building.
“And the staff inside will be wearing camouflage and uniforms while serving.”
