IT HAS a new look - but is still very much part of Sheffield’s traditional shopping favourite destinations.
Meadowhall’s new look Marks & Spencer was officially declared open by store manager Lindsay Austin, with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
She then invited customers to take a first look at the new layout, features and improvements with a glass of champagne.
Lindsay said: “We’ve spent the last eight months giving our store a complete makeover and it was fantastic to unveil the finished result.
“The response has been superb, with customers giving us great feedback, in particular on our new beauty department and improved home department.
“Our deli counter has also been a big talking point, with shoppers enjoying the chance to choose from a range of delicious fresh food.”
The Deli counter features 110 new lines including freshly carved meats, pasta sauces, cheeses and salads.
“It located in the store’s updated Food hall, along with the newly extended in-store bakery.
