Two of the Peak District’s top chefs are preparing to share some of their secrets at a series of cookery master classes being planned by Tideswell School of Food.
Alan Hill, chef patron of Chatsworth Estate pubs the Devonshire Arms at Beeley and the Devonshire at Pilsley, launches the season on Thursday, August 16.
Alan has cooked for TV and film stars including Keira Knightly and Ralph Fiennes, and even for celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
He is passionate about fresh, seasonal produce and plans to share some of his culinary tips and secrets at the class, including some of his signature dishes.
Fischers’ head chef Rupert Rowley takes over on Sunday, October 7, with a dinner party menu cooked to Michelin star status.
Rupert trained at Sheffield College and went on to work with Raymond Blanc and Gordon Ramsay before returning home to take up his post at Fischer’s.
