CHILDREN’S character Little Howard is on his way to Sheffield - and has written a silly song to announce his arrival.
The cartoon favourite plus human sidekick Howard Read - stars of the BBC show Little Howard’s Big Question - perform at the Memorial Hall on Saturday at 2pm.
To proclaim their coming, the pair have penned a ditty about the city which is available to watch and listen to on YouTube. The video has so far had 372 views.
Lyrics pay homage to Toby Foster, the Arctic Monkeys and Jarvis Cocker.
Comedian Howard said: “Sheffield has a lot of brilliant musicians, but not many funk and soul songs written about it. It has now.”
The Sheffield show features songs, sketches, magic, a new invisible character, and a cheeky pigeon from Barnsley. Call 0114 256 5567 for tickets.
