Library ready for 1st birthday

residents will be celebrating the first anniversary of Bawtry Community Library later this month.

A big team of volunteers has run the community facility since the beginning of March last year following the closure plans put forward by Doncaster Council as part of its borough-wide cost saving measures.

Preparations are in hand for a party due to take place on the evening of Thursday, February 28.

Supporters can help to meet the continued running costs of the facility by becoming a Friend of Bawtry Community Library.

By making regular monthly donations residents can help to maintain and develop the library. All it needs to support the library is for individuals to go into their bank and ask to set up a standing order.
