A ROTHERHAM college is to open its doors over the weekend to run classes aimed at those with weekday commitments or who wish to study on Saturday mornings.
The Saturday Club at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology is offering DIY and construction, languages, nail art, floristry, furniture crafts, art and design, fashion and metal work.
There is also an Indian cookery class and anyone interested in the performing arts can attend the Drama Performance Skills course.
The Basic Motor Repair Skills will help absolute beginners get to grips with oil and water top-ups, changing a wheel and the workings of a car.
There are classes for pensioners and a computing session for children, parents and grandchildren.
Campus manager Paul Bloor said: "Many people struggle to find the time during the working week to study or simply have more time on a Saturday to do the things they enjoy."
