A MUSICAL comedy show is back on the road again for the third time to raise money for Barnsley Hospice.

The Old Club Trip is running at Barnsley’s Lamproom Theatre from July 17 to 21, after raising almost £20,000 for the charity in previous years.

Set in 1961, the production tells the story of a couple who meet during a club trip on a traditional Leyland Tiger bus, and is written by local musician Dave Cherry.

The performances are going ahead this year after bus company Stagecoach Yorkshire offered to sponsor the show.

Tickets are priced £10 for adults or £9 for concessions.
