LANDLORDS are being invited to a seminar in Sheffield to discuss issues facing them including how changes in the Government's housing allowances will affect their operations.
The information evening, organised by the National Landlords' Association, is taking place at Sheffield Park Hotel, Chesterfield Road South, near Meadowhead, on Monday January 24, starting at 6.30pm.
Speakers include Steve Simpson, of National Landlords' Association Mortgages, and Jim Conlon, of Bell & Buxton Solicitors.
Topics will include buy to let, eviction and the impact of human rights legislation - and include a look at the background of the Stirling Moss case. In 2010, the former racing driver, turned residential landlord became embroiled in eviction proceedings.
John Squire, of Sheffield Council, will talk about changes to housing allowance.
