KNITTERS are being urged to get their needles at the ready in the name of charity.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is asking people in South Yorkshire to make legwarmers for trampolinists.
Trampoline supplier Super Tramp has joined forces with knitwear designer, Rebecca Peach from to offer people a free pattern to make legwarmers to raise cash for the charity.
Once the items have been knitted they will be sent back to the company to be sold on, with profits going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Sue Piper, fundraising manager at the charity, said: “We know that families with children who have Cystic Fibrosis often use trampolines as a fun way to help them do their daily physio and we’re delighted to be part of this whacky challenge to the nation’s knitters.”
