CRafty folk who are quick with a needle and thread are needed for a world record challenge.
People are invited to dust off their sewing kits to help make the longest string of bunting ever seen at Clumber Park in Worksop.
The attempt is part of celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year on June 3 and 4.
The official Guinness record is currently held by the Fairtrade Foundation in London, which created a string of bunting measuring 3,427.94 meters long.
Clumber Park organisers are working with community groups to make over 20,000 unique pieces of bunting to tie together. Prizes will be awarded for the best entries.
