BESTSELLING-AUTHOR Joanna Trollope signed books for die-hard fans in her first visit to Sheffield.
The writer of novels like The Rector’s Wife and The Other Family greeted readers at Waterstones, Orchard Square.
Jenny Lea was first in the queue and had travelled from Boston in Lincolnshire to meet her idol.
The 58-year-old said: “I am a massive fan, she tells such a good story.”
Joanna was in Sheffield to sign copies of her new novel The Soldier’s Wife.
Rebecca Gransbury, events co-ordinator at Waterstone’s, said: “We have a lot of author signings and Joanna was a top one, being such a highly-acclaimed author.”
