Young Sheffield jewellery designer Jessica Flinn is enjoying a glittering career and has been nominated for two of the country’s top industry prizes.

Jessica, aged 24, has been shortlisted for the British Jewellers’ Association Designer of the Year Award and the BJA Member of the Year.

She was selected as a finalist by judges from more than 100 nominations – but must wait until December 5 and a black tie ceremony in Solihull to discover if she has won.

Her latest nomination comes only months after Jessica, who is based at the Lion Works in Kelham Island, was named one of the country’s top young entrepreneurs in the Duke of York Awards.

A graduate of metalwork and jewellery from Sheffield Hallam University, Jessica’s designs blend modern and traditional techniques, all hand finished by her team at Lion Works.

Her current collections can be found across the UK at independent retailers, boutiques and in Argos.
