KEEN Bessacarr cyclist James Jones has helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity by completing an epic bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
James, aged 25, marketing director of Robinson’s boutique in Bawtry, was one of 75 riders of all ages who took part in the event organised by Action Medical Research.
“It was a terrific experience and one I will never forget,” he said. “We covered the 968 miles in nine days. Each day we would ride over 100 miles. Some days seemed easy while others never seemed to end particularly when the weather was not so good.”
