YOUNG photographer James Ashton is celebrating after this quacking photo won him a top prize.

James, from Doncaster, scooped an honour in a photography contest organised by the National Trust with this intimate picture of ducks feeding at Clumber Park.

More than 5,700 entries were submitted in the four categories of the competition which ran from May until August last year.

James scooped victory in the ten and under category and wins a day’s tuition with acclaimed photographer Charlie Waite at National Trust property.

All of the winners are featured in the spring edition of the National Trust Magazine.
