STAFF at The Devonshire Arms in Middle Handley are aiming to put a smile on costumers’ faces - with their own Comic Relief version of the Great British Menu.
Head chef Tom Lawson, sous chef Craig Middleton, junior chef Simon Maw and commis chef Jodi Wilson will be competing against one another to create a series of dishes to be served at a Red Nose Day dinner on March 15.
In the run-up, the chefs will create a series of starters, mains and desserts, with the best-sellers going on to be served at the Red Nose Dinner.
Fifty pence from the sale of every starter and dessert will go to Red Nose Day and £1 from every main course.
The cost of the March 15 dinner will be £35 per head, with £5 from every booking going direct to the BBC’s Red Nose Day appeal.
