Is your school a record breaker?

Have your say

SCHOOLS in Sheffield that took part in the world record attempt for the most people signing and singing a song simultaneously are being urged to return their official witness statement forms.

Pupils from the city look set to have helped break the sign2sing Guinness World Record, organised by SignHealth last month – but not all schools have sent in the essential information.

It is believed more than 130,000 children took part in sign2sing, but, without the evidence, the charity is unable to verify the actual number.

Almost 95,000 children took part in our first sign2sing event in 2011 and smashed the previous record, which was 13,418.
