A WRITING competition, hoping to attract entries from students and their parents, has been launched in Sheffield.
The topics for Meadowhead Community Learning Trust’s competition are ‘Our Sheffield,’ ‘Childhood and School Memories’ and ‘Poetry for Performance.’
To enter, you must be a current Meadowhead student, a student at one of its feeder schools, a parent or teacher at one of the schools, or member of the community.
The competition aims to increase the number of local people writing creatively. Entries must be no longer than 300 words and submitted by February 15. Selected work will be published in an anthology this summer.
