A MEDIEVAL jester will be among the attractions when Conisbrough Castle holds a free open day.
The historical site is open to the public between 11am and 3pm on Saturday.
Visitors can enjoy entertainment, explore the grounds and also have a look at plans for future restoration of the building, which dates back to the 12th century.
There will be ancient pottery on show discovered during archaeological explorations carried out recently in the area.
There will also be guided tours and hands-on fun activities giving people the chance to find out about life in medieval times.
