Discounted bus travel is being offered to families visiting Sheffield’s Fright Night.

Britain’s biggest Halloween carnival returns to the city centre on Sunday, October 28.

A discounted £5 FirstDay Group bus ticket will be on offer for the day of the event giving unlimited travel for up to five people including two adults.

The ticket is valid on First buses in South Yorkshire and for people travelling in to Sheffield from north-east Derbyshire and north Nottinghamshire.

David Brown, South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive director general, said: “Fright Night is a brilliant event that brings Sheffield city centre to life, but road closures and restricted access can make it difficult to get there by car. Public transport is a good option.”
