DANCE fever hit Sheffield when a city school opened another new ballroom at its headquarters.
The new studio was opened at Drapers Dance Centre in High Street, Beighton.
Around 140 people packed the ballroom for the grand ribbon-cutting ceremony which was followed by an exhibition of dance.
First on the stage was a professional display of Latin dancing, followed by performances from some of the dance school’s 10 and 11-year-old students.
Hayley Draper and her husband Scott took over the dance school from Scott’s father Raymond seven years ago.
Hayley said: “The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and everybody seemed to love the new ballroom. Everybody likes watching children dancing so that went down a storm.”
Also on stage were young dancers Shannon Jackson and her partner Leon Blake.
The new ballroom will be used by all club members.
