Everyone enjoyed a ‘fangtastic’ time when a Sheffield care home held a huge party to celebrate Halloween.

Residents, their grandchildren and staff at the Park View home in Shiregreen donned their scariest outfits for a spooky celebration.

Sanctuary Home manager Kerry Saxton, activities assistant Sylvia Ward and 77-year-old resident Maureen Hurst were dressed as wicked witches, while activities leader Deborah Byrne looked spook-tacular as a vampire.

Kerry said: “Our residents love it when we dress up and make fools of ourselves. Halloween is a fun time of year because it’s a celebration all generations can enjoy.”
