SOME of the UK’s best comedians, music acts and theatrical productions will be brought to Chesterfield during a four-day celebration of the arts.

Organisers of the annual Arts and Market Festival have announced their line-up for the event, which takes place from November 1 to 4.

The town will welcome comedian Jeremy Hardy, a regular fixture of Radio 4’s News Quiz, and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment which brings its Mozart concert to Chesterfield.

In homage to the London Paralympics, there will be a stage version at the Pomegranate Theatre of the Incredible Doctor Guttman – about the man who staged the first games.
