Shoppers in Meadowhall pulled on their festive sweaters to take part in an attempt to break a Guinness world record.
A minimum if 639 people was needed to set a new record of the largest gathering of people wearing Christmas jumpers at any one time.
The event was raising money for Meadowhall’s charity of the year, St Luke’s Hospice.
Reality television star Amy Childs also popped along to the event, wearing a Christmas jumper, in between visiting her pop-up boutique outside Marks and Spencer.
Meadowhall centre director Darren Pearce said: “It has been great, a really lovely event.
“When you look at all the people it shows how many people we have engaged with and also raised money for such a good cause.”
Organisers have yet to announce if the record was broken.
