A PUB landlord from Sheffield is embroiled in a battle with the chain which owns his pub.
Stefan Moverly, formerly of Handsworth, has launched a petition to allow him to continue serving ‘homecooked’ food to customers.
The 31-year-old is fighting to keep his own menu at the Devonshire Arms, Upper Langwith, Nottinghamshire, which could soon have to adopt brewery Marston’s standard chain grub.
The campaign has already won the support of locals, with more than 400 signatures.
Villager Jenny Drew said: “Marston’s is trying to make the licensee run the business as a pub chain, contrary to what a village pub should be.”
