HERE is the full line-up for this year’s Music in the Gardens:

Wednesday July 4 - The musical extravaganza will get off to a flying start with Keith Peters and his Big Band.

The band, who will be accompanied by Sheffield University Big Band, will treat audiences to the tried and tested formula of big-swing classics.

And to inspire concert-goers to emulate the dapper style of big band singers, there will be a competition to find the best dressed dancer in the crowd.

Thursday July 5 - The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain promises to give the people of Sheffield an experience they’ll never forget. The gloriously quirky ensemble are an all-singing, all-strumming sensation.

There is bound to be something for everyone as the diverse setlist boasts classic numbers from composers such as Tchaikovsky, to rock band Nirvana, mixed with Spaghetti Western soundtracks.

Friday July 6 - Headliners 10cc will take to the stage to perform their biggest hits.

The pop veterans, who stormed the charts in the 70s with songs such as Dreadlock Holiday, I’m Not In Love and Rubber Bullets, will be supported by local band The Bootleggers.

Saturday July 7 - The event will be brought to a spectacular conclusion with the Classical Concert, courtesy of Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra. Crowds will be treated to a fly-over from a World War Two replica plane before a musical firework display lights up the sky. This year, there will be a Last Night of the Proms theme running throughout, so bring along your Union Jacks for a night of flag-waving and singalong fun.
