The Lion King comes to Sheffield this Christmas as dementia charity Lost Chord celebrates the festive season and its 15th anniversary with a special evening of music.
West End star Roger Wright – who played the original Simba in the London production of Disney hit The Lion King – will top the bill at St Marie’s Cathedral in Sheffield city centre at 7pm on Thursday, December 18.
And he will be joined on the bill for an evening of Christmas favourites, classical hits and musicals’ melodies by some of dementia charity Lost Chord’s leading professional musicians.
“We are so excited a performer of Roger’s calibre is joining us for an evening that not only celebrates Christmas but also marks the culmination of our 15th anniversary celebrations,” said Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller.
Tickets cost £10, or £12 on the door, to include mulled wine and mince pies. Call 01709 811 160 to book.
