BUDDING musicians are invited to take to the stage at a fundraising open mic night.
The event, hosted by organisers of Sheffield’s annual Worrall Festival, takes place on Friday April 19.
Singers are being urged to sign up to perform at Worrall Memorial Hall, Towngate Road in a bid to boost the festival coffers.
The night will be hosted by local music legend Dave Friskney and there will be a selection of ales and ciders on offer, along with snacks for the audience.
Tickets cost £3 and the event is free to children under 16. Doors open at 7.30pm.
This year’s Worrall Festival – a celebration of local music talent, fine local ales and good food – takes place on June 7 and 8.
