ROTHERHAM teenager Lauren Teasdale took centre stage when her debut film hit the silver screen at a top national film festival.
The 18-year-old, a student at Wales High School, was invited to see her work premiered at the 2012 Co-operative Film Festival at Manchester’s AMC Cinema.
Lauren’s film, Hell Hath No Fury, received a certificate of merit at the two-day event.
She is currently taking media studies A-level and is in her final year at Wales.
Her entry was one of 66 chosen from almost 200 submitted by young film-makers, schools, youth groups, arts groups, colleges and video workshops from across the UK and beyond, including films submitted from as far away as Belgium, the Czech Republic and Estonia.
The festival has provided young people with the opportunity to air their films on the big screen since 1966.
