The enchanted world of Neverland is coming to Rotherham this Christmas – and one lucky local will get to star as Peter Pan’s mischievous fairy friend, Tinker Bell.
Spiller Pantomimes are looking for a girl aged seven to 11 to star in their production of the children’s classic at the Civic Theatre. The first round of auditions will take place at 1.30pm on August 23 at the council’s Riverside House building.
Mark Scott, Rotherham Theatres manager, said: “Everybody loves Tinker Bell, so whoever wins the role will have to have a big personality and be able to read a script well. But we’re not looking for lots of experience, we’re looking for the right person to portray this fantastic fairy.”
Peter Pan will run from December 5 until January 13. Tickets on sale now.
