Restoration work on Forge Dam in Sheffield has been boosted by £2,000 thanks to an autumn fair.
Families enjoyed a variety of activities including a bouncy castle, dog show and welly wanging.
There was also a range of stalls for people to wander around selling a range of items including homemade cakes, plants and bulbs and fruits and vegetables.
There was also a demonstration of forging by the side of the dam.
The event was organised by The Friends of Porter Valley, which wants to restore the dam, which has become badly silted over the years.
Group chairwoman Ann le Sage said Saturday’s event raised at least £2,000, with all the money still to be counted.
She said: “There was a great atmosphere and lots of happy faces in the sun.
“There is still some money to come in and costs to be taken out, but it looks like at least a balance of £2,000 for the restoration fund.”
