FORMER world boxing champion Ricky Hatton is coming to South Yorkshire to talk about his career in the ring and stories from his life.
He is appearing at Barnsley Metrodome on Friday, February 10, from 7.30pm.
Richard Bailey, events manager, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Ricky to the Metrodome.
“He is one of Britain’s greatest-ever boxers and he has some fantastic stories to tell.
“This really is a must-see event for all sporting fans.”
Hatton recorded 45 wins with 32 knockouts in his boxing career – only losing two fights to the top two fighters in their division, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Junior.
He will talk about his fights, training and life after boxing at the event, while comedian and compere Jed Stone will host the evening’s entertainment.
