Bargains galore were the order of the day when pupils at a Sheffield school held their very own Market Day - with everything selling out in 45 minutes flat!

The event at Norton Free CE Primary was the climax of a two week topic on the World of Work.

Each class was given £20 and was challenged to come up with their own products - with Y3s winning the competition with their own CDs, framed self portraits and pots of putty.

The Y1 infants meanwhile made these charming chaps using grass seed, sawdust, beakers and old pairs of tights.
