FOOTBALL-MAD city centre workers raised £1,000 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital by organising a five-a-side tournament.

Businesses in Sheffield’s city centre Fountain Precinct battled it out in a fiercely-fought tournament organised by the building’s managing agents Jones Lang LaSalle.

Sharon Davidson, who organised the event, said: “It was good to see so many businesses working side-by-side to help a cause close to the hearts of so many people.

“It has also proved a great way to help integrate the many businesses that work in Fountain Precinct.”

Trophies were awarded at a special presentation evening at The Bessemer pub, Leopold Street.

The event was sponsored by Norland Managed Services, Metro Fire Safety and Security Design Centre. Vale Services supplied the trophy.
