PUPILS at a Sheffield school who took their GCSE English Language exam six months ahead of schedule have all passed with flying colours.
The nine Year 11 pupils at Broomhill's Westbourne School all passed the exam, with one student gaining an A*, five achieving an A and three receiving grade Bs.
"This marks yet another outstanding academic achievement for our pupils, following up on our 100 per cent success rate at GCSE last summer," said headteacher John Hicks.
"The scholarship class has been accelerated in their learning in all subjects since Year 7 and we are delighted with the success of this strategy to stretch more able pupils.
"We are confident that they will flourish in the summer exams and gain more grade As than ever before."
