The Doncaster 4 All multicultural event is set to move to a new venue, due to popular demand.

The event has been moved from the Town Fields to Sandall Beat.

The new venue will accommodate more people and, due to its size, allow for a wider variety of entertainment.

The festival is to take place on Saturday, September 27 and will coincide with the UKIP conference taking place at Doncaster Racecourse.

According to organisers, the aim of the event is to celebrate the positive aspects that cultural and ethnic diversity have brought to Doncaster, as a ‘direct contrast to the UKIP message of intolerance’.

Attractions at the event will include stalls, music, speakers, a fairground and a host of family friendly entertainment with an international favour.

The event is being organised by a group of Doncaster residents, and has the active involvement of local community groups, trade unions, faith groups and non-governmental organisations.

Atilla the Stockbroker has agreed to perform at the event and other acts, including international artists & high profile speakers, have been approached to perform.
