COMMUNITY groups and organisations are being asked to send in details of their events for this year's Sheffield Environment Weeks by the end of the month.
The Environment Weeks take place between April 23 and June 5, and people are being asked to submit details by January 31 to ensure inclusion in the 2011 programme.
A launch day will be held in Sheffield city centre on April 23 with a forest and woodworking theme, and organisers are looking to feature events with a family appeal.
Pat Barsby, chair of the Sheffield Environment Weeks working group, said: "We want this year's events to be even bigger and better than ever and we are keen to broaden our scope by providing a wide range of activities for all interests.
"We want to include a full list of events in the programme and would really like to have more events that celebrate Sheffield's communities, so anyone planning an open event should contact us as soon as possible."
