Irish comedian Ed Byrne will be back to perform at Sheffield City Hall in 2013.
He is appearing at the venue on Saturday, October 5, in the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall, as part of his ‘Roaring Forties’ tour.
A spokeswoman for City Hall said: “A comedian at the top of his game, this tour is all about Byrne looking at the latter part of life in a new way.
“As always, his show is sure to bring the fast gags and an audience rapport that draws in the crowds for every show he plays.
“Ed has built his act on observational comedy and, on this tour, the audience can expect to hear about an extensive list of personal niggles and a whole array of laugh out loud observances from the comedian who has cemented his status in the world of comic geniuses.”
Dublin-born Byrne is a Perrier Award-nominated stand-up comedian and voiceover artist.
He has presented numerous television shows and is a regular guest on various television comedy panel game shows, including BBC’s Mock the Week and Channel 4’s Eight out of 10 Cats.
