COMEDY genius Peter Kay is back at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena at the end of the month with The Tour That Doesn't Tour - Tour. And YOU could meet him.
It's been the tour that doesn't do meet and greet competitions - until now.
The superstar has given backstage VIP passes to his singer songwriter pal Eliot Kennedy to auction off in support of his Sheffield based One Song Foundation - helping local, national and international charities.
Its aim is to change the world, one song at a time, with donations from music downloads and other showbiz items.
Peter is doing his bit, one joke at a time, by donating the money can't buy prize to meet him after one of his three upcoming shows at the Arena on January 29, 30 and 31.
And Eliot is giving Star readers the exclusive chance of bidding for the tickets as a special thanks for all the help and support the paper has given him in launching the foundation.
It follows star-studded fundraising charity concerts headlined by Eliot, including two hosted by his comedy superstar buddy Peter at Sheffield City Hall.
Famed for his own unique style of observational comedy, the comic took an amusing 10-minute look through the pages of The Star during his most recent part in one of Eliot's shows.
Bryan Adams, Mica Paris, stars of Blue, Atomic Kitten, SClub and Five, Fame Academy's Alistair Griffin, soul singer Kenny Thomas, Kavana, plus new acts Sibohan Dillon and Scott Anson have all performed at Eliot's charity shows, singing hits he's written for them.
There wasn't a Christmas show last month but Peter, who played five sell out dates at the Arena last November, wanted to do something new to help.
"Peter is a great friend and wanted to help raise more funds for the foundation. There's no better way than giving this,'' Eliot said.
"The tickets are worth more than 35 each, so the face value for a pair is over 70. But with these you'll meet him. We've got a starting bid of just 200."
Eliot's Foundation, to support various charity projects, includes plans for a Sheffield Hope Academy for Performing Arts - with scholarships for the underprivileged or homeless to help them realise their musical dreams.
