THE Chinese New Year will be celebrated at an event at Sheffield’s City Hall.
A programme of authentic Chinese singing, dancing and traditions,including acrobatics, martial arts and a tea art show, has been arranged.
Tales of Chinese folklore will also be told through performances from The International Chengdu Nationality Group, Lion Dance Team and the Wanlin Dance School
Chinese food will be available before the main show, which starts at 7pm in the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall in the venue.
The event, on Monday February 11, is to mark the Year of the Snake.
Coun John Campbell, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield is set to attend, along with a representative from the Chinese Embassy.
