A CITY charity which provides homeless people with a safe place to stay has been awarded £1,960 by the People's Postcode Trust.
Emmaus will put the money towards a Companions Sporting Activities project which will form part of the Emmaus Training and Development Programme.
It aims to help people who are recovering from addiction and mental health issues.
Martin Davies, chairman of Emmaus, said: "As a result of this programme, we hope they will be given the opportunity to feel more positive."
