BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalists 2 Grand will join pupils at Trinity Academy in Thorne in a talent show for the British Heart Foundation.

Grandfather and granddaughter duo John Neill and Sallie Lax, who made it to the final of the ITV talent contest, are friends of Trinity Academy pupil Toni Goulden, who is organising the fundraiser.

They will all take to the stage, along with local dance troupe Body Rockers and 10 student acts, on April 7, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Toni will sing Chris de Burgh’s Lady in Red, recalling one of her fondest memories of her grandmother Ann, with whom she used to dance along to the track.

Ann died aged 57 of heart failure, a condition that blights her family.

“I think it must be a genetic thing with our family as we seem to have a lot of heart troubles,” the 16-year-old said.

“We want to raise as much money as possible for BHF and the talent contest promises to be a great night out.”
