A CARERS' support group working in Derbyshire is looking ahead to its third successful year.
The group, founded by staff with the Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust, supports people who care for people with mental illnesses.
It is self-funded through various events and meets once a month to discuss a host of different topics such as relapse prevention and staying well. They also organise theme evenings and social events and activities such as line dancing.
Chris Wheway, from the trust, said: "It is important that the needs of carers are recognised and that support is given to them.
"The continued success of this group is a testament to all the hard work that members of staff have put in over the past two years."
