Taylor Wimpey has renewed its sponsorship of Chapeltown Juniors FC (U16s).
The funds have provided winter coats for training and club-branded polo shorts for presentation nights and trips.
Steve England, club secretary, said: “The funds we receive from Taylor Wimpey means that our players have the right teamwear on and off the pitch.
“Here at Chapeltown we provide excellent resources for a great number of local children and we do rely on funding to supplement the monies spent on league fees, insurance and other team costs, so we are extremely grateful for the ongoing support .”
The club, which plays in Ecclesfield, competes in The Sheffield and District Junior Sunday League - the biggest junior football league in Europe - and involves over 100 children.
Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire said: “The club provides an invaluable service to the community, and our local development The Banks is very popular with families, so we know the club will involve its residents. We were therefore extremely keen to help out and supply them with kits again.”
