SOUTH Yorkshire is sitting on an unclaimed fortune worth £1million.

The National Lottery has revealed a winning Euromillions ticket was sold in Doncaster last month

It carried the winning number for the Millionaire Raffle draw on 27 March 2012.

Lottery firm Camelot is urging anyone in the borough who bought a ticket for the draw to check their details.

The winning selection on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, was FGL789613 and the ticket-holder has until 3pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012 to make their claim. If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest the prize has generated, will go to The National Lottery Good Causes.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
