Trombones and trumpets took centre stage as brass orchestra Loxley Silver Band headlined Bradfest.
The Sheffield group, based in Stannington near Loxley, opened the weekend’s festivities at Bradfield Village Hall.
The festival celebrated the city’s homegrown music, food and ale.
A variety of guests, including Simon Cowan of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and Fairey Band member Mike Eccles joined up with the band for its performance.
Musicians played a selection of solos on iconic movie themes from James Bond, Superman and music from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Audience members were also treated to renditions from Last Night at the Proms such as Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem.
Loxley Silver Band, which is now approaching its 125th anniversary, have played a variety of cathedrals and concert halls after being joined by new musical director Lee Dunkley.
The band also attended the Bolsover Festival of Brass contest where they won a silver cup and £100 prize money in a competition.
