A STUDENT will represent her country in an international bowling contest.
Keira Reay, aged 16, will visit Vienna for the European Youth Ten-Pin Bowling Championships.
The Barnsley College student scored her first perfect game, or 12 strikes in a row, at the age of 13 – making her the youngest female bowler outside America to achieve it.
Keira, who practises for more than 15 hours a week, said: “My tutors have been really supportive and understanding.”
A £1,000 bursary from the Barnsley Sports Academy has helped Keira compete.
