THEY do say never work with children or animals.
But one Sheffield entertainer will do both this summer.
Bobby Beevers, aged 26, is touring with BBC musical primate show ZingZillas at Gulliver’s children’s theme parks - including its site in Matlock Bath.
The former Butlin’s redcoat, from Anston, auditioned for the role of presenter with the Gulliver’s ZingZillas show in March after seeing an advert on The Stage website.
He said: “This is a massive stepping stone towards my dream job of being a children’s TV presenter.
“It’s a great job. I love touring with the show and getting everyone involved - it’s fantastic fun to see the parents enjoying themselves as much as the kids - and so far the show has been hugely popular, with more and more people attending every day as the word spreads.”
