A LARGER than life image of Sheffield athlete Jessica Ennis has been unveiled on one of the busiest flight paths in the UK - to welcome those coming to the country for the Olympic Games.

British Airways revealed the picture of Jess - which is the size of 15 tennis courts and has been been painted onto fields in Hounslow yesterday.

The painting took over 600 litres of red, white and blue waterproof paint to create and measures 53 by 75 metres.

Jess starts her quest for Olympic gold in the heptathlon on Friday, August 3, continuing on August 4.
